Differences Between Cannabis Seed Oil And CBD Oil

With the recent news of legal cannabis growing, the wellness markets have been flooded with "hemp seed oil" and other CBD-free cannabis products. Each of the compounds found in cannabis can have unique benefits, but when you want to buy a product with a picture of the cannabis plant on the label, you can get really confused.

Hemp seed oil and hemp-derived CBD products are completely different. Hemp seed oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant, similar to canola, sunflower or olive oil. CBD oil, on the other hand, is obtained from flower buds, resin and leaves of the cannabis plant, through CO2, ethanol or industrial solvents.

Because “hemp seed oil” is often and erroneously referred to as “hemp oil”, consumers should check the label to make sure they are getting the right product. If CBD oil is what you're looking for, hemp seed oil isn't what you want.

Cannabis Seed; It is obtained from hemp seeds by cold pressing method. Contains cannabinoid omega-3 and omega-6. It is mostly used in the food and cosmetics industry.

Cbd Oil; It is obtained from the female cannabis flower by the Supercritical CO2 method. Contains all cannabinoids and terpenes, including Cbd and Thc. It is used in the food and cosmetics industry, especially in health.
