BML S.A. in the starting blocks for the cultivation of medicinal cannabis on an area of 30,000 m² in Greece

BML S.A. has obtained a Consolidated Installation Permit for the cultivation, processing and manufacture of finished medical cannabis products and finished medicinal products on an area of 30,000 m² in Greece from the Greek State. Cultivation is carried out in Geoponika, Kria Vrisi, Municipality of Pella Northern Greece.


BML S.A. is committed to the cultivation of high quality pharmaceutical grade cannabis in Greece in order to continue to supply local, European and international markets with medicinal cannabis-derived end products. BML S.A. was founded in 2019 specifically to enter the medical cannabis business. The company aims to create high-tech cultivation and production facilities that leverage the latest advances in lighting, climate control, cultivation science and integrated pest management. BML S.A. aims to supply pharmaceutical cannabis products to corporations, governments, distributors and patients. As one of only 26 companies in Greece, BML S.A. obtained a state license to grow cannabis for medicinal purposes. This makes it one of the few and exclusive companies in Europe.
